Appointment Manager is a free add-on to your existing
appointment system, especially designed for the healthcare industry. It
sends SMS text messages and/or e-mail appointment reminders to your
patients. E-mail reminders are free, you only pay for the SMS messages
you successfully send.

It is a fast and cost-effective way to send appointment reminders,
in order to reduce no-shows and late patients. If your staff currently
spend time phoning appointment reminders it can dramatically reduce
their workload.

From the patient’s point of view, an e-mail or SMS reminder is
convenient and not as obtrusive as a phone call. They can re-visit it at
any time before the appointment, and are at least as likely to remember
as someone reminded using traditional methods.

Development is under way for Best Practice, VIP and Dentrix. As
long as read access to appointment data is available, it can be integrated
into any Practice Management system.

Appointment Manager consists of a small application that can
be installed on any workstation or server on your network. This sends
current appointment data over an encrypted secure connection to the
Appointment Manager web service, from where you send reminders.
A typical session will take only a few minutes to send reminders for a
whole day of appointments. Once you are happy with the performance of
the service, it can be set to automatically send reminders x days ahead of
appointments, or you can continue to use it manually.
